Punjab government has suspended 18 employees suspended after they administered out-of-turn vaccine jabs to people against bribery, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The 18 employees of the district government were suspended for taking bribes. 

According to the Punjab Health Department, the incident occurred at the PKLI Vaccination Center.

The district government has notified their suspension. 

District Health Authority Lahore has issued a notification to suspend 18 employees

Those suspended include: Nawaz Johan, Sajjad Ali, Muhammad Tanveer, Babar Ali, Karamat Ali, Amjad Ali, Timur Fayyaz, Muhammad Yusuf, Faqir Hussain, Kashif Masih, Mohammad Ikram, Mohammad Osama, Bashara Farman, Abir Shahzadi, Imtiaz Ali, Aqsa Shahid, Shehzad Hussain and Allah Wasaya.

The government has paced up the vaccine rollout for masses and now vaccine shots are available for the 30 years and above age group people.
