PIA brings another one million doses of corona vaccines from China

The Pakistan International Airline (PIA) operated a special Boeing 777 flight to Beijing, China on Sunday bringing another one million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to combat the pandemic, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The PIA special aircraft flight reached Beijing on Sunday and came back to Islamabad International Airport on Monday (today) with millions of vaccine jabs.
The national carrier said, “On behalf of the government of Pakistan, we stand ready to serve this great nation when required.”
As per the statistics released by NCOC, in the last 24 hours (Sunday), a total 36,725 coronavirus tests were conducted in which 3232 came back positive and 74 deaths were reported across the country.
The National Command Operation Center (NCOC) already announced, “Get yourself vaccinated! All those above 30 years can get registered by sending the CNIC number to 1166. A walk-in facility for above 40 years also needs prior registration. It will save your time.”

Further, the policy making body to combat COVID-19 in the country, NCOC, said that ban on tourism will continue till further notice and NCOC will issue necessary instructions accordingly.
