Around 70 percent of the forest around Kotli in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) was burnt as fire erupted due to unknown reasons that spread swiftly posing serious challenges to human lives and wildlife, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Pertinent to note that burning of trees are not only loss to the humans living in those areas but loss of the heritage too and also flocks of birds, insects and small animals have to migrate from the area.
According to reports, every year in summer Panjan Charhoi village forest in Azad Jammu Kashmir catches fire when locals burn pine trees.
