Hearing of graft case against Zardari adjourned until June 9

Keeping in view that Rs8 billion transaction corruption case against former president and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari is already sub judice in the Islamabad High Court, an accountability court (AC) in Islamabad on Tuesday adjourned hearing of the petition filed in the case until June 9, 2022, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor Wasim Javed and lawyer for the defendant Barrister Shiraz Rajpar appeared in the court.
The court marked all the accused in the case present and also accepted the plea submitted by Zardari for one-day exemption from appearance.
