Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif contacted Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and offered him every type of assistance for investigation into the Bolton Market bomb blast, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, as per the official sources, an initial report on the Bolton Market blast has been prepared according to which 4-5kg explosives were used in the bomb blast.
The report said that the explosives along with ball bearings were planted in a motorcycle, adding that the blast destroyed the front part of a police vehicle and also damaged a rickshaw and five motorcycles.
The report also reveals that the owner [Parvez Rehman] of the motorcycle which was used in the bomb blast died six months ago.
Police raided a flat in Gulistan-e-Jauhar and learnt that the motorcycle was given to a servant of the deceased whose name was Sabir.
Police conducted another raid in a nearby goth for the arrest of Sabir, but he had made his escape good before the police came, and his cell phone number was also found turned off. Raids are being conducted by police for the arrest of Sabir.
The report also reveals that the woman, who was killed in the Bolton Market bomb blast, was a resident of Garden Shoe Market.
She used to prepare dupatta at home and then supply it to Kaghazi Bazaar. At the time of the blast, the woman was there in a rickshaw to supply dupatta in the market. She was 30-year-old and a mother of three children. Her funeral prayers will be offered today after Zuhr prayers near Shoe Market.
