Elected UC members to take oath on May 22 

The election commission has announced that elected UC chairmen and vice chairmen will be administered oath on May 22, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.  

According to a notification issued by the Election Commission, the elected chairmen and vice chairmen will take oath on May 22.  The same date has also been fixed for administering oath by the members elected as union committees, and general members in each union council, union committee, and ward in the municipal committees, town committees, and district councils of Sindh province.

Meanwhile, the nomination papers for reserved seats will be collected from May 22 to May 24 and scrutiny of nomination papers will take place from May 25 to May 26. 

From June 3 to June 4, the House of the town council and city council will be completed, and elected local body representatives will take oath on June 10.
