Hackers gang involved in frauds in US, Netherlands busted from Multan, several held

Intelligence agencies and National Cybercrime Investigation Agency have busted illegal cybercrime network gang from Multan and arrested several members of 21 members gang, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

The FBI and Dutch police had identified the "Heartsender Group" of hackers which were operating from Pakistan. National Cybercrime Investigation Agency have blocked dozens of websites which were run by the gang. 

The ringleader Ramiz Shahzad (Hardsender) and his gang were involved in fraud worth millions of dollars from Americans and foreigners. The ringleader hailed from Fatehpur Layyah, Bahria Town Lahore and had established a network in Sabzazar Colony in Multan. National Cybercrime Investigation Agency raids on four houses of gang in Bahria Town Lahore, large amount of digital material recovered. The arrested suspects include Muhammad Aslam, Adeel Aziz, Osama Nawaz, Abdul Moeez and Shoaib Nazir. Mobile phones, laptops and data storage devices recovered from the possession of the suspects. Valuable vehicles and other assets worth crores of rupees have been seized. The cases have been registered against the accused under PECA 2016 and various sections of the Pakistan Penal Code.
