President Zardari visits Gujranwala Cantt, lauds security forces feats against India

President Asif Zardari visits Gujranwala Cantonment along with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

President Zardari was welcomed by Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir on his arrival in the cantonment . 

Addressing the soldiers, President paid rich tribute to Pak Army's professionalism during Operation Haq against India. 

Zardari praised Pakistan Army's courage and steadfastness against unprovoked aggression. 

President Zardari also paid tribute to martyrs by terming their sacrifices as national pride. The President said that the sons of the nation remained a leaden wall in the defense of the homeland. 

He said failure of the enemy's aggression in a few hours is a historic feat of the Pakistan Army. President Zardari congratulated Armed Forces on the successful completion of Operation Banyan Al-Marsoos. 

He expresses pride in the spirit, readiness and sense of duty of officers and men. The President said the nation believes its brave soldiers as the guardians of national dignity and sovereignty.
