PU admin allots hostel to deserving students from GB, KP, AJK and Balochistan
After removing illegal occupants, Punjab University administration has allotted hostels to 678 morning program students.
According to a spokesperson for the Punjab University, the hostel rooms were allotted to the students belonging to Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Azad Kashmir.
The spokesperson said that 281 deserving students from Balochistan, 192 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 36 students from Azad Kashmir get hostels facilities.
The spokesperson further added that, on the special instructions of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Muhammad Ali, strict monitoring and verification procedures will continue in all hostels to ensure transparency and discipline.
It is pertinent to mention that Punjab University administration had successfully carried out a comprehensive clean-up operation and hostels were vacated from illegal occupants.
