Rana Sanaullah visits LoC to assess damage

Advisor to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah on Saturday visited the Neelum Valley along the Line of Control to take stock of the losses causes by the Indian missile strikes from May 6-10.

Sanaullah visited areas like Neelum, Jora, Shahkot and Bagna and assessed the losses resulting from the Indian bombing. He offered condolences to families of the martyred and expressed solidarity with them. He also gave cheques of Rs10 million each to the families of two people who were martyred in the Indian bombing.

Speaking to the affected people, Sanaullah said he visited the LoC on the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He said that India imposed war on Pakistan without any justification and then India faced the humiliation of defeat.

He said that India targeted civilians in this war, but the people living along the Line of Control stood steadfast against India. He said that Pakistan would give even a stronger reply if India ever made this mistake again.

The advisor said that Pakistan raised the Kashmir issue once again at the diplomatic level through effective diplomacy. He said the government of Pakistan would take every step for rehabilitation of the affected Kashmiris living along the Line of Control.
