Heat persists in country as Met Office sees no chance of rain

Heat persists in most parts of the country as daytime temperatures in central and southern parts are expected to exceed 40 degrees Celsius, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Heat, humidity persists in Karachi

Hot and humid weather persists in Karachi as the Met Office said that the maximum temperature on Sunday would rise to 38 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.7 degrees Celsius, while the level of moisture in the air in the morning stood at 68 per cent.

Winds were blowing from the west at the speed of 12 kilometers per hour.

Hot weather predicted for Lahore

It is also hot in Lahore as the maximum temperature was expected to reach 41 degrees Celsius on Sunday afternoon.

Breeze was blowing at the speed of nine kilometers per hour, while the level of humidity was recorded at 43 per cent.

On the other hand, the Met Office forecast hot and dry weather for the provincial capital.

Weather to remain hot in Islamabad

Similarly, the weather in Islamabad is also hot and dry.

Today, the maximum temperature would touch the 39 degrees Celsius mark, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius.

The level of humidity in the air was recorded at 33 per cent.

Hot, dry weather forecast

The Met Office has forecast hot and dry weather for most parts of the country barring upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) where rain was expected at some places.
