One shot dead, two injured in firing by unknown suspects in Karachi

One person was killed and two were injured in a shooting incident in the Saeedabad Municipality and Boat Basin areas in Karachi, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday. 
According to police, the deceased was identified as 38-year-old Asadullah, while the injured are brothers, 35-year-old Zafar and 32-year-old Muhammad Omar.
The deceased and the injured were shifted to the hospital for further legal action.
Seven people, including three women, were injured when a passenger bus overturned near Site B, Shershah Dalda Company.
According to rescue officials, the injured include 17-year-old Ghulam Qadir, 60-year-old Sulaiman, 20-year-old Bilal, 50-year-old Zarina, 65-year-old Ayesha, 65-year-old Farid, and 38-year-old Kamran.
The injured were immediately shifted to the civil hospital and are being provided with medical assistance.
One robber was injured in the firing while his accomplice escaped in an alleged encounter with Shahra-e-Faisal police.
Weapons, bullets, mobile phones and a motorcycle were recovered from the arrested accused Kamran, police said. Police are taking disciplinary action against the accused, while the search for the escaped robber is also underway, police officials said.
