Two killed and five injured as speeding  car crashes into tree in Bhakkar

Two people were killed and five others seriously injured after a speeding car lost control and crashed into a tree near Deliwala on the Bhakkar-Multan-Mianwali Road on Sunday.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the accident occurred when the driver reportedly fell asleep while driving, causing the vehicle to veer off the road before hitting a tree with great force.

The rescue officials said the deceased were identified as 35-year-old Kamran and 14-year-old Rehan. 

The injured passengers included Khalida Bibi, Sufyan, Usman, Khalid Hussain and Ayan.

Rescue 1122 teams reached the scene shortly after the crash and shifted the injured, along with the bodies of the deceased, to District Headquarters Hospital, Bhakkar, for medical treatment and legal formalities.

Rescue team said the condition of several injured passengers was serious.
