Zanjeerein gets darker with poison attacks and family betrayal
Zanjeerein is finally picking up pace and episodes 3 to 6 brought family politics, revenge plans, forced rishtas and emotional twists that are making the story more interesting.
Episode 3
Ahsan Khan’s character Sherdil and his brother start suspecting that the attack on them was planned by Torsam Khan. Meanwhile, Surbuland shares his wish to go to America for higher education.
Torsam later meets Sherdil and his brother to discuss property matters. Sherdil reminds him that their grandfather had already divided all the property fairly, but Torsam clearly seems unhappy with his share.
The conversation quickly turns heated when Sherdil hints that Torsam was behind the recent attack. Torsam questions him, asking if he really believes he planned it and that is where old family issues start resurfacing.
Later, Torsam tells his friend that he has just as much right over the haveli as Sherdil and his brothers and he has no plans of leaving.
On the other side, Bano’s education becomes an important topic when Surbuland expresses his wish to send her abroad for higher studies. The elders strongly oppose the idea, saying girls in their family have never studied abroad.
Bano finally stands up for herself, which was honestly refreshing to watch. After some emotional discussion, Surbuland’s mother supports Bano and asks Sherdil for permission as well. He agrees.
Bano finally speaking for herself was one of the strongest moments of this episode. The revenge track is interesting, but female growth storylines make the drama feel more balanced.

Episode 4
A maid enters the storyline when Sher Bano questions her about being in the garden late at night. The maid surprisingly questions her back, creating more suspicion. It later seems that the maid may actually be secretly involved with Torsam’s friend Zurmurd and is feeding updates from the haveli.
Meanwhile, Torsam goes to Rabiya’s house with a marriage proposal but gets badly insulted by Rabiya. Things get worse when he fights with Rabiya’s brother and even grabs him by the neck.
Before leaving, Torsam warns them to prepare for marriage soon. On the other side, Sherdil starts facing medical issues after being poisoned by maid. The biggest twist comes at the end when it is revealed that Torsam was behind the attack on Sherdil.
On the other side, Rabiya’s brother Tayyab asks Mudassir if he is serious about marrying his sister and pushes the conversation toward a formal proposal.
Episode 4 had proper thriller energy. The poisoning twist definitely made things darker.
Episode 5
Mudassir arrives with a marriage proposal for Rabiya, but she initially gets angry. Her uncle convinces her to at least listen. Rabiya later asks Mudassir why he wants to marry her and he honestly explains his feelings.
After hearing him out, she agrees to the proposal. Her uncle then pushes for the wedding to happen quickly. Meanwhile, Sherdil finds out about Torsam’s recent fight.
A family panchayat takes place where everyone discusses what should happen to Torsam. Torsam defends himself by saying he only fought and did not kill anyone.
Sherdil asks him to apologize to the victim’s family, but Torsam refuses. This leads to Sherdil slapping Torsam, which increases the hatred in his heart even more.
It is also revealed that Adnan Siddiqui’s character Zafran Khan is Torsam’s maternal uncle and the one constantly fueling his revenge by reminding him about his mother’s past.
That slap may become one of the biggest turning points of the drama because Torsam now looks completely unstoppable.

Episode 6
Before her marriage, Rabiya calls Mudassir and decides to be honest about her past involving Torsam. That conversation felt surprisingly mature.
Mudassir listens calmly and reassures her. Rabiya also gets emotional about shutting down her small restaurant. She shares that she had big dreams attached to it, but life seems to have different plans.
Their conversation showed genuine emotional connection. Meanwhile, Torsam swears on his late mother that he will kill Sherdil.
As Sherdil leaves for the hospital, Torsam orders his men to attack him before he leaves their area.
Episode 6 ended on a serious cliffhanger. Rabiya and Mudassir’s emotional scenes brought softness, while Torsam continues becoming more dangerous.
Overall, Zanjeerein is slowly building strong family drama with revenge, romance and emotional conflicts.
Torsam is clearly becoming the biggest threat, but characters like Bano and Rabiya are adding emotional depth, while Sher Bano’s character brings a lighter side to the drama.
With the way things are unfolding, viewers can expect even more revenge, bloodshed and intense moments in the upcoming episodes.
And yes, many are still waiting to find out what exactly is inside that mysterious red plate.
