Faisalabad most polluted city of Pakistan

Faisalabad became the most polluted city in Pakistan after smog indicators in the Aerosol Air Index reached 424 points, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
A weather officer also predicted no chance of rain and mostly the plain areas would remain under smog.
Health experts said that toxic particulars of smog could cause harm to the human body.
Also, health experts advised people to plan their trip as per the weather condition and wear masks during their outdoor travel.
Lahore International Airport was also engulfed with smog as the visibility reduced to 1000 meters.
Planes find it difficult to take off and depart from the Lahore Airport.

It is reported that smog might disturb air travel at Lahore International Airport.
On Tuesday, Punjab cabinet’s standing committee on smog deferred the proposed three-day closure of schools and also banned the use of Euro 2 Oil in Lahore for a period of one month.
It was agreed that schools could be closed in case the situation with respect to smog deteriorated further.
The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday ordered PDMA DG Raja Mansoor to make a smoke emergency plan and submit it to the court on Nov.
LHC directed PDMA DG to devise the plan in collaboration with commissioner Lahore, DG environment and chairman Environmental Commission.
The court expressed displeasure over what the court called ‘inadequate steps’ taken by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) to control smog in Lahore.
