The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Commercial Banking Circle Islamabad arrested a person involved in hundi/hawala business on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the FIA sources, the accused was arrested during an operation on a tip-off in Blue Area of Islamabad. He was identified as Muhammad Zahid.

During search, 23,500 Saudi riyals and 2.8 million Pakistani rupees were recovered from the vehicle of the accused.

During interrogation, he failed to justify holding the currency recovered.

A case was registered against him.
