Known as a cool chap in the Showbiz industry, Umair Jaswal is gearing up to play the role of former pacer Shoaib Akhtar in the very highly-anticipated biopic of the legend Rawalpindi Express.

Shoaib Akhtar, earlier this year announced that his biopic is in progress. This announcement ignited a very exciting debate on who will be playing the role of the pacer. 

It has been made official that Umair Jaswal will show his skills in the film.

The Easypaisa Raahi host took to his Instagram to share a poster of himself wearing the pacer’s number 14 cricket jersey.

The film is a directorial of Muhammad Faraz Qaiser, written by Qaiser Nawaz and a production and presentation of Q Films Productions.

The remaining cast has not been announced so far. The film “Rawalpindi Express” is set to be released next year.
