Government raises martyrs’ compensation for Civil Armed Forces by 233%

The efforts of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi bore fruit as the federal government has significantly enhanced the martyrs’ compensation package for Pakistan’s Civil Armed Forces, increasing financial benefits by 233 percent in what officials described as a major step to honour the sacrifices of security personnel.

A notification for the revised package has been issued, and the new compensation structure has been implemented with effect from the federal cabinet’s decision dated August 26, 2025.

Under the upgraded package, the minimum compensation for martyred personnel of the civil armed forces has been raised from Rs 3 million to Rs 10 million, while the maximum compensation has been increased from Rs 10 million to Rs 20 million.

According to the notification, the new slab-wise cash compensation is as follows: Grades 1–9: Rs 10 million; Grades 10–15: Rs 10.25 million; Grades 16–17: Rs 15 million; Grades 18–19: Rs 18 million; Grades 20 and above: Rs 20 million

Beyond financial support, the families of martyrs will also receive full salary, allowances, and pension.

Additional benefits include employment opportunities, free health and education facilities, marriage grants, house-building loans, and other welfare provisions.

The civil armed forces covered under the package include Punjab Rangers, Sindh Rangers, FC North and FC South in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and FC North and FC South in Balochistan.

Officials said the enhanced package reflects the Interior Minister’s push to strengthen welfare measures for the families of fallen personnel.
