Govt grants Hajj applicants final 3-day grace period to submit second installment

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has extended the deadline for the payment of the second installment under the Hajj 2026 Government Scheme by an additional three days, offering applicants a final chance to complete their mandatory payments.

According to the ministry’s spokesperson, all applicants are now required to deposit their dues — especially the second installment — by November 19.

The spokesperson cautioned that any applicant failing to submit the payment within this extended period will have their Hajj application cancelled without further notice.

Initially, the payment window for the second installment was scheduled from November 3 to November 10, 2025.

However, in response to repeated requests and to accommodate more applicants, the deadline was first extended to November 15, 2025.

Despite the extension, a significant number of applicants were still unable to submit their dues on time, prompting authorities to grant a final grace period to ensure they do not miss the opportunity to perform the sacred pilgrimage.

To facilitate applicants, designated banks were instructed to remain open on Saturday, November 15, to collect payments.

The ministry urged all applicants to make use of this final extension and ensure timely submission of their dues to secure their place in the 2026 government Hajj scheme.
