Rawalpindi Anti-Corruption Court issues non-bailable arrest warrant for Fawad Chaudhry

A Special Anti-Corruption Court in Rawalpindi Monday issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry after he failed to appear repeatedly despite being summoned, reported 24NewsHd Tv channel.

The hearing was conducted by Judge Khawar Rashid, who expressed strong displeasure over the former minister’s continued absence in a case related to alleged misuse of authority with consent.

The court, noting multiple missed appearances without justification, proceeded to issue non-bailable warrants to ensure Fawad Chaudhry’s presence at the next hearing.

The case remains under trial at the Special Anti-Corruption Court Rawalpindi.
