Islamabad police issues traffic advisory ahead of Rawalpindi Test match

The Islamabad Police spokesperson has issued a traffic advisory for the upcoming cricket activities in the twin cities, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday. 

According to the advisory, practice sessions for the Pakistan and South Africa cricket teams will be held on Saturday and Sunday, while Test matches are scheduled to begin at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from October 20.

The police warned that during the match days and practice sessions, traffic flow on the Expressway and Srinagar Highway may be affected, particularly during peak hours.

Citizens have been advised to plan their travel with additional time to avoid inconvenience.

The spokesperson added that Islamabad Traffic Police will be on duty to manage traffic and ensure smooth flow, aiming to minimize difficulties for the public.

Motorists are requested to follow traffic instructions and use alternative routes wherever possible to ease congestion.
