Political crisis deepens in AJK as another minister quits Anwar-ul-Haq-led govt

Political crisis deepens in Ch Anwar-ul-Haq led Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government as another minister has tendered his resignation on Friday while several others minister are likely to quit the government, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

On Friday AJK Sports Minister Asim Sharif Butt resigned from the ministry and dispatched his resignation letter to Prime Minister Ch Anwar-ul-Haq. 

During the last few days four ministers have quit their ministries in AJK government. 

Ch Anwar-ul-Haq government in Azad Kashmir faces turmoil as voices against the government are getting stronger day by day. Moreover, series of important political consultative meetings continue in Muzaffarabad. 

Earlier, Finance Minister Abdul Majid Khan, Food Minister Chaudhry Akbar Ibrahim and Information Minister Pir Mazhar Shah have resigned. 

According to sources, Asim Sharif Butt resigned due to differences with government policies. Asim Butt in his letter claimed that he cannot compromise on principles.
