A flood-affected married woman was allegedly raped by four youths at gunpoint in Kot Mithan on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

According to details, the married woman named Sumaira was going somewhere with her husband when she was abducted by the four youths at gunpoint and taken to an unknown place.

The victim filed an FIR against the accused and told the police that she was sexually assaulted by the four drunken youths who took her to house of a landlord near Nai Abadi in Kot Mithan.

A heavy police contingent led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) reached the spot immediately upon receiving information and investigated the matter. 

Kot Mithan police registered a case and launched a hunt for the suspects. 

“A strict action will be taken against accused and they cannot escape from police,” said the DSP.
