Local bodies elections a part of PTI s manifesto: AJK PM

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has said that his government is committed to holding local bodies elections to transfer power to the grassroots level.
He was presiding over a meeting of the central governing body of PTI Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He said that local bodies elections are an important part of PTI's manifesto. In the local body elections, we prepare and lay the foundation of a nursery for new leadership, he said, adding that the youth of Azad Kashmir will be empowered by giving the opportunity to the workers of all political parties.
In the meeting, important decisions were taken regarding the preparations for local body elections.
It is told in the meeting that the process of forming the parliamentary board and taking applications from the candidates will begin in the current week.
The governing body expressed its confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan and reiterated this commitment that the entire party stands like a rock with the ideology of Imran Khan. Imran Khan is the leader not only of Pakistan but of the entire Muslim Ummah.
The governing body said that the opposition is leaving no-confidence motions to escape from the local elections. We strongly condemn it. PTI government will complete its five years tenure, but now the political future of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir belongs only to the lovers of Imran Khan, the body added.
In the meeting, committees were formed regarding the preparations for the general meeting of Chairman PTI Imran Khan on September 29. It was said that the Imran Khan meeting will be the biggest one in the history of Azad Kashmir.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister has also formed a committee to ensure the implementation of the government policy in accordance with the government and administrative affairs, to address the concerns of the government representatives in matters related to various ministries, and to remove the concerns regarding the arbitrary adjustment.
The committee will be headed by Chaudhry Azhar Sadiq while Ch Maqbool Gujjar, Ch Zafar Anwar, Raja Mansoor Khan, Mir Atiq Ahmed, Ch Aamir Nazir and Sardar Qazi Israel will be members. The committee will not only provide support in the implementation of administrative matters by taking decisions in consultation with the ministers/heads of various departments on the exact implementation of the government policy, but will also submit its recommendations to the Prime Minister.
Special prayers were also offered for the flood victims at the end of the meeting.
