Cardi B announces pregnancy with fourth child, first with Stefon Diggs

Rapper Cardi B has revealed she is expecting her fourth child, which will be her first with NFL star boyfriend Stefon Diggs. The 32-year-old hitmaker, already mother to Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 12 months, with her ex-husband Offset, confirmed the news during an appearance on CBS Mornings. “I'm having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs,” Cardi said, adding that she had not even told her parents about the pregnancy before the interview because she was “scared of them.”

The rapper, who is set to release her new album Am I The Drama? on September 19, admitted she chose to keep the pregnancy private until now because she was working to “close some deals first.” She described herself as “excited” and “happy” about starting this new chapter with Diggs, 31, the New England Patriots wide receiver, who she said won her over by telling her: “Give me a chance for me to heal you.” Cardi added that she feels “safe, very confident and very strong” in her new relationship, following her divorce from Offset in 2024 after seven years of marriage.

Reflecting on the challenges of balancing motherhood and her career, Cardi explained that she feels powerful managing her workload while creating new life. She admitted she recently suffered a panic attack due to the pressures surrounding her album rollout, but credited Diggs with helping her stay grounded. “He makes me feel very confident … and it makes you feel like you could take over the world,” she said.

Cardi ended on a playful note, joking with her fans to support her upcoming album as she prepares for a bigger household. “Now y’all could buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that type of stuff. I told you. Now go support my album, ’cause I’m a mother of four now.”
