Pakistan vs UAE match delayed by an hour as PCB leadership holds crucial talks

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesperson, Aamir Mir, has confirmed that the match between Pakistan and the UAE has been officially delayed and will now commence one hour later than the originally scheduled time, 24NewsHD TV reported on Wednesday.

Addressing a press conference, he said the delay came as consultations within the PCB continued under the chairmanship of Mohsin Raza Naqvi.

"The ongoing discussions included the participation of former PCB chairmen Ramiz Raja and Najam Sethi, signaling the importance of the meeting."

 PCB spokesperson also confirmed that talks were underway with the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding the matter of the match referee Andy Pycroft's removal and that a formal announcement from the PCB Chairman is expected shortly.
