President Arif Alvi has decided again not to take oath from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s federal cabinet members, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Monday.
According to the report, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani will not administer the oath to the ministers selected by PM Shehbaz to run his government.
The officials of the Awain-e-Sadar (President’s House) have confirmed that the swearing-in ceremony of the federal cabinet will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11 am.
The channel report also said that President Alvi has taken the decision not to take oath from the Cabinet at the request of the former premier and Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan.
