A wild animal that had vandalized several offices in parliament house yesterday re-entered the building on Tuesday, causing chaos and raising the security concerns among staff members, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to wildlife officials, the animal is called ‘Civet Cat’, a rare animal found in the forests of Asia and Africa, and it managed to re-enter the Parliament House from Margalla Hills due to rain.
Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (MCI) officials captured the animal and several videos of it roaming about the parliament building and damaging multiple offices inside the building went viral on social media.
This is the second time in a row that a wild animal has entered the parliament building.
On the other hand, local staff reported that the wild animal is infectious for the eyes since it releases a substance similar to spray that causes eye inflammation.
