Govt endeavouring to improve economy through exports: Bilal

Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani says Pakistan has attained a special status internationally due to effective diplomacy and mediation between the US and Iran.

Addressing a news conference in Karachi today, he said the world is appreciative of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for bringing the US and Iran to the negotiating table.

Bilal Azhar Kayani said that the government is focusing on improving the economy by increasing exports, facilitating the business community and expanding the tax net.

He said exports and remittances play a vital role in the national economy.

He said that incentives have been given to the business community to boost business activities and increase exports.
