Pakistan, Saudi, Egypt, Turkish FMs hold consultative meeting in Antalya
Foreign Ministers of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt held their third consultative meeting in Antalya, on the sidelines of Fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum, to discuss ways to address regional challenges, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to a Foreign Office statement released on Saturday, the four foreign ministers exchanged views on evolving regional dynamics, reaffirming the vital role of dialogue and diplomacy in promoting peace, stability, and shared prosperity.
The foreign ministers expressed a shared commitment to advancing this partnership, deepening coordination and expanding collaboration across key areas of mutual interest.
According to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the meeting was attended by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, and Pakistani Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that Fidan had previously participated in a meeting in Riyadh on March 18 alongside the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Pakistan, Bahrain, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates, where recent regional developments were discussed.
He also took part in a separate quadrilateral meeting with his Egyptian, Pakistani, and Saudi counterparts.
It added that, as a continuation of those discussions, Fidan met his counterparts from the three countries for a second time on March 29 in Islamabad, followed by another quadrilateral meeting at the deputy minister level on April 14 in Pakistan.
