PMA Kakul holds grand passing-out parade as cadets vow to defend homeland

The Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul on Saturday hosted a grand passing-out parade, where graduating cadets reaffirmed their commitment to defend the country with unwavering dedication.

Cadets who successfully completed their rigorous training at the academy expressed their resolve to make every possible sacrifice for the defence of Pakistan.

Academy Senior Under Officer Bilal Naseem from Azad Kashmir was awarded the coveted Sword of Honour and declared the best cadet of the course. Speaking on the occasion, he said he had joined PMA with the aim of serving the nation, and the training further strengthened his determination.

Battalion Senior Under Officer Muhammad Saad, who received the President’s Gold Medal, said the academy’s training had significantly enhanced his personality, skills and character.

Gentleman Cadet Masood-ur-Rehman, representing Balochistan’s Mastung District, termed the demanding training, mentorship and teamwork at PMA a matter of great honour.

International cadets also participated in the ceremony. Senior Under Officer Pobin Kanwar from Nepal described PMA as a prestigious institution and highlighted the strong brotherly ties between Pakistan and Nepal, rooted in a shared past and a promising future.

Course Under Officer Muhammad Haider Bin Abid expressed confidence in Pakistan’s future, stating that the presence of highly trained officers graduating from PMA ensures the country’s security.

Sergeant Abdullah from Mardan, who was named best cadet of the Mujahid Course, described PMA’s training as a transformative journey.

Course Under Officer Walia Zeb emphasized that the academy’s comprehensive training had prepared them to serve the nation as capable military officers.

Similarly, Course Under Officer Ali Bin Waqar praised the challenging environment at PMA and reiterated his commitment to defending the homeland.

Sri Lankan Course Sergeant Major Naini also expressed pride in the academy’s training standards and appreciated the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The ceremony reflected the academy’s role in shaping future military leadership and strengthening both national defense and international military cooperation.
