CTD arrests would-be bomber from Lahore Railway Station

The city of Lahore has been saved from a major disaster as the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) officials arrested an alleged suicide bomber from Railway Station on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to CTD officials, a suicide jacked and explosives were also recovered from the terrorist.

The terrorist, Liaquat Khan, was belonged to the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban and wants to carry out a bombing in the city during Muharram.

The CTD officials made the arrest on a tip-off from the law-enforcement agencies.
