Court summons Rajab Butt and co-accused in Ayesha Sharafat case

Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Ayesha Sharafat legal dispute has taken another turn with the court postponing proceedings and summoning the accused for the next stage of the case until August 29, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Additional Sessions Judge Rafaqat Ali Gondal adjourned the hearing of the alleged harassment and assault case, directing Rajab Butt and his co-accused to appear before the court for charge proceedings

The other co-accused in the case include Salman Butt, Jawad, Jahangir, and Abdul Rehman. 

Meanwhile, Additional Sessions Judge Rafaqat Ali Gondal postpones the proceedings on the main challan of Ayesha Sharafat, summoning Rajab Butt and four others for charge sheeting on August 29.

During the proceedings, Rajab Butt and the other accused submitted their surety bonds and appeared before the court accompanied by their counsel, Ali Ashfaq Advocate.

Notably, In this challan, Rajab Butt was declared innocent in the police investigation. However, Ayesha Sharafat subsequently filed a private complaint, challenging the findings and alleging that the investigation was flawed and that Rajab had been wrongly cleared.
