IHC suspends Tibb Council’s decision to cancel Hakim Shahzad’s registration

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has suspended the Tibb Council’s decision to cancel the registration of renowned Hakim Shahzad until the next hearing, reported 24NewsHD Channel.

Justice Muhammad Asif heard a petition on Tuesday filed by Hakim Shahzad with Advocate Sher Afzal Marwat presenting the petitioner.

During the hearing, the petitioner’s counsel argued that the Tibb Council had cancelled Hakim’s registration as a practitioner without providing him an opportunity to be heard.

The counsel requested the court to declare the cancellation of his registration null and void.

The Islamabad High Court issued a notice to the Tibb Council seeking its response and suspended the registration cancellation order until the next hearing.

The court adjourned the further hearing of the case.
