Mohsin Naqvi visits family of martyred Major Ehsan in Mianwali

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday visited the family of Major Ehsan, who was martyred a few days ago while bravely fighting the militants in North Waziristan.

During his visit, Naqvi expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the family of the martyred officer and offered Fateha for the elevation of Major Ehsan's ranks. He appreciated the high morale and courage demonstrated by the father of the martyr and paid tribute to the family's sacrifice. He also consoled the children of Major Ehsan and expressed compassion and solidarity with them.

Speaking on the occasion, Naqvi said the determination and spirit of martyrs such as Major Ehsan were the real strength of the nation. "Every drop of blood of our martyrs, including martyr Major Ehsan, is a guarantee of the security of the homeland," he said.

Naqvi said Major Ehsan had sacrificed his precious life for the country and attained the high status of martyrdom. He added that the sacrifice of Major Ehsan would always be remembered and that the martyred officer would continue to live in the hearts of the nation.
