A mother’s cry can shake the Heavens, Sabahat Bukhari demands justice
Veteran Pakistani actress Sabahat Bukhari has raised her voice for grieving families, joining a protest in Karachi against rising violence and injustice while making an emotional appeal for immediate justice.
Speaking emotionally to the media, Bukhari said that too many tragic incidents are happening across Pakistan. She stressed that citizens must raise their voices. She poignantly emphasized the power of a mother’s pain, warning that a mother’s cry can shake the Heavens and move the Almighty.
The actress specifically highlighted heartbreaking cases, the brutal murder of 18-month-old baby Aizal and the killing of businessman Mir Raza, who was also killed in a brutal incident.
Questioning the humanity of those responsible, Bukhari asked whether they understood the immense love, care and sacrifices that go into raising a child. Her remarks reflected the anguish of families who continue to wait for accountability after losing their loved ones.
Addressing the large gathering of young protesters, Bukhari issued a strong message to the authorities, stressing that justice must be delivered to the grieving mothers. She warned that if the victims’ families are denied justice, public anger will continue to grow and people will be compelled to raise their voices even louder.
Bukhari called on the authorities to take immediate action, arrest those responsible and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice, turning the protest into a powerful appeal for accountability and compassion.
