The Capital Development Authority (CDA) decorating the Islamabad city with Xmas trees has paid advance salaries with one bonus salary to Christian employees.

According to the 24News HD TV channel report, the CDA authorities have also decided to hold a Christmas cake-cutting ceremony on December 23 to the encouragement of the employees.

All Christ employees working in the CDA have been invited to the cake cutting event in which the chairman, board members and other officers will also participate.

The report said that the authority has paid Christmas allowances to Christian employees and also paid salaries for the month of December before Christmas this year.

In this regard, full basic salary has been given to non-gazetted employees while half basic salary has been given to the gazetted employees as a bonus. Similarly, the allowance has been paid to the regular and daily wage employees as per the regular pay scales.
