Karachi police to be bolstered with over 4,000 recruits

In view of maintaining peace and security in Karachi, the Sindh government has decided to appoint more than 4,000 recruits in the Sindh police, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on the recommendation of the provincial home department gave approval for making the fresh recruitment.

The Sindh police after getting CM Shah’s consent, has officially released the schedule of new recruitments. 

According to the schedule, the Sindh government has decided to hire 4,805 rookies in the Karachi police. Among whom, 2,148 recruits will be taken from a quota reserved for minorities and the remaining will be taken from general seats.
