Former prime minister Ch Shujaat Hussain and Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi met with the royal host of Roza Rasool (PBUH) Sheikh Abdullah Mohammad Alsaman on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

During the meeting, Sheikh Alsaman held a special payer for the health and long life of Ch Shujaat Hussain.

Ch Shujaat said that the friendship between Pakistan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is above any expediency. He said the kingdom always helped Pakistan in difficult times. 

Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Pervaiz said Ch Shujaat had got the honour to enter the inside of Khana Ka’aba and Roza Rasool (PBUH). 

The royal host extended his thanks to Ch Shujaat and Pervaiz Elahi on their hospitality. 

He also praised Ch Pervaiz Elahi saying that he was serving Islam by introducing legislation pertaining to the finality of prophet hood (PBUH). He also appreciated his efforts regarding inclusion of translation of Holy Quran in the syllabus books. This is the first time in the history of Pakistan that somebody has served Islam in this way, the Sheikh added.
