Dacoits claim life of another budding student in Karachi

In yet another killing during street crimes in Karachi, a law college student was shot dead by dacoits for resisting a robbery attempt, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The sad incident occurred in the Korangi area when some unidentified dacoits tried to snatch the valuables from a youth and his father. When they were offered resistance, they opened the firing on them.  As a result of the firing, the son was killed and the father was injured. 

According to the Rescue sources, an accused was also injured due to public violence. The dead body and injured were shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medical assistance. 

The deceased son was identified as Azhar and the injured father was Maqsood Akhtar. A passerby namely Osama was also injured in the firing. 

Azhar was a law student, said Danish, a brother of the deceased.  

Pertinent to note, street criminals killed a budding Engineer near Karachi’s NED University about two days ago for resisting a robbery attempt.

An Engineering student Bilal, aged 21, was killed by street criminals who wanted to rob him of his cell phone and other belongings but as the youngster tried to resist the robbery, the robbers shot at him, killing him on the spot. Bilal tried to hit the robbers with a chair. The victim was a final-year student doing petroleum engineering at NED University of Engineering and Technology.
