PM Shehbaz calls separate meetings on economy, energy
Dar will brief premier regarding economy, IMF programme and export industry: PM will also be apprised of progress on import of Russian oil
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called separate meetings to get the briefing on economy and energy, reported 24NewsHD TV channel o Sunday.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will brief the premier regarding the economy, International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme and the export industry
A report will also be presented to the prime minister about the tasks the premier gave in the previous meeting.
It is expected that important decisions regarding economy would be taken during the meeting.
The prime minister will also preside over a meeting on energy. He will be briefed about the gas load management plan.
PM Shehbaz will also be briefed regarding gas supply to domestic consumers and industries.
The Petroleum Division will also brief the premier on the gas shortfall, and import of LNG and LPG.
The development in the process of importing crude oil from Russia will also be reviewed during the meeting.
