Four kidnapped trackers rescued in joint Sindh–Punjab border operation

Four trackers from Sadiqabad who were abducted by armed robbers about a month ago have been rescued in a joint operation conducted by Khambara Police, Sindh, with the assistance of Rangers at the Sindh–Punjab border.

According to police sources, the trackers were part of a search team that had been called to the Mureed Shakh area, where they were kidnapped by criminals.

Following intelligence-based operations, law enforcement agencies successfully recovered all four hostages.

A search dog that was accompanying the trackers at the time of the abduction was also recovered during the operation.

After the rescue, relatives of the trackers and police officials from Sadiqabad departed for Mureed Shakh police station to complete legal formalities and bring the rescued individuals back home.

Police said further investigations are underway to trace and arrest those involved in the kidnapping.
