Kabaddi Federation to probe Pakistani player who played for India

Pakistan Kabaddi Federation General Council called for emergency meeting in order to prob the matter of playing for the Indian team and waving flag by a Pakistani player in Bahrin, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday. 

According to Secretary of Pakistan Kabaddi Federation Rana Sarwar, Chairman Chaudhry Shafi Hussain has called for a meeting on December 27.

About 16 Pakistani players participated in the tournament in Bahrain.

This was not the national team of Pakistan nor was its permission sought. 

It was a self-made team and Pakistan's name was used.

Neither permission was taken from the government nor was the federation informed to participate in the event.

Playing and waving the flag of a national player on behalf of the Indian team is unacceptable.

The matter will be investigated and the strictest action will be taken.

Action will also be taken against self-made promoters and no one will be allowed to hold an illegal event.

In no case will the name of Pakistan be allowed to be defamed.

Players from several countries play together in clubs and playing and waving the flag of a national team is unacceptable.
