PIA to start flight operations to northern areas from March 13

Good news for tourists, after Islamabad, now Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will start its flights to other northern areas of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The operation will start from Karachi and Lahore next month.
Initially flights from Lahore to Gilgit and Skardu and from Karachi to Skardu are being started.
According to Civil Aviation, the PIA will start its operation from Lahore and Karachi to Gilgit, Skardu from March 13. The aim of which is to promote tourism, it added.
