England cricket team lands in Lahore for ICC Champions Trophy

With just one day left to the start of the ICC Champions Trophy, 2025, England cricket team, led by captain Jos Buttler, arrived in Lahore on Tuesday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

In all, a 31-member squad reached Pakistan, comprising players and members of the staff. 

The team will play its group matches in Lahore and Karachi. 

It will play its opening match against its traditional rival Australia at Qaddafi Stadium, Lahore on February 22. 

The English team’s second clash is against Afghanistan on February 26, also at Qaddafi Stadium, while its last group match is against South Africa which it will play in Karachi.  

The team consists of following players: Jos Buttler, Tom Banton, Harry Brook, Ben Duckett, Joe Root, Phil Salt, Jamie Smith, Brydon Carse, Liam Livingstone, Jamie Overton, Jofra Archer, Gus Atkinson, Saqib Mahmood, Adil Rashid and Mark Wood.
