House owner arrested for raping domestic worker in DHA Lahore

Defence Police arrested a man named Maqsood on charges of sexually assaulting a domestic worker, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Tuesday.

According to the FIR filed by the victim’s husband, Atif Ali, the accused, who owns the house, called Aasia Bibi to clean a room and later raped her.

Following the victim’s complaint, police swiftly arrested Maqsood and handed him over to the Gender Cell for further investigation.

SP Cantt Owais Shafiq appreciated the SHO of Defence B Police Station for his prompt action and assured the victim’s family that the accused will receive exemplary punishment as per law.
