Pakistan develops app to issue visas on arrival

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has removed all hurdles in the way of issuance of visa on arrival. 

On the instructions of Naqvi, the Interior Ministry has launched an app to facilitate issuance of visa on arrival to people of 120 countries. Applicants can now easily process their visas and check their status online using Pak Identity app. People of other countries can get the Pakistani visa online on arrival within 24 hours using this app. 

Businessmen can apply for business visa, tourists can apply for tourist visa and Sikh pilgrims can apply for pilgrim visa using this app. This app also has features like face-reading and passport and document reading. Now visa applicants can process their biometric using their mobile phone and submit their face photos and digital passports online. PakID app is available on Google Play Store and App Store.
