Proclaimed offender Kumharo shot dead in Phalia police en-counter 

A proclaimed offender namely Rafaqat alias Kumharo was died while two accused fled away when some unidentified persons opened fire on a police party on Gujrat Road, Phalia, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Sources said that the unknown accused attacked the police team to free their colleagues from police custody.

During heavy exchange of firing, Rafaqat was died on the spot while his two other colleagues escaped.

The accused was wanted by Punjab police as he was nominated in 22 cases filed against him which includes murder, attempted murder, robbery, and kidnapping for ransom.
