Customs staffer, cop martyred as terrorists target DI Khan police station

A Customs staffer and a policeman were martyred when terrorists attacked a police station and a Customs office in Dera Ismail Khan late Tuesday night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The terrorists targeted the Yark Police Station and during a fierce gunfight Constable Bilal was martyred while two other cops received injuries.

The terrorists also attacked Customs officials nearby, resulting in death of one of them. 

The terrorists also completely destroyed two government vehicles, the police said.

A large contingent of police rushed to the site and cordoned off the area.

The injured were shifted to a hospital after first-aid treatment on the spot.
