Sahibzada Farhan leads T20 World Cup 2026 in runs and sixes

Pakistani opener Sahibzada Farhan has become the T20 World Cup 2026 tournament’s leading run-scorer and most prolific six-hitter batsman, 24NewsHD TV reported on Wednesday.

In a crucial group-stage clash in Colombo, Farhan’s magnificent unbeaten century set a daunting 200-run target against Namibia.

Displaying composure at the crease, Farhan smashed an unbeaten 100 off just 58 deliveries, laced with four towering sixes and 11 elegant boundaries.

With this landmark knock, Farhan’s tally in the ongoing tournament climbed to 220 runs in four innings, placing him firmly at the summit of the batting leaderboard.

He now stands ahead of South Africa’s Aiden Markram, who occupies second place with 178 runs from four matches.

Farhan has also emerged as the leading six-hitter of the competition.

His 11 maximums in four innings put him narrowly ahead of India’s Ishan Kishan, who has struck 10 sixes in as many matches.

With consistency and power-hitting defining his campaign, the in-form opener has positioned himself as one of the standout performers of the T20 World Cup 2026.
